How to whiten a Brown Tooth?

I have one rotten tooth, which is really brown and noticable when i smile. I went to the dentist for a checkup and he said that it was probably hereditary and that he can give me a veneer, however this will cost £250, and as a student i cannot afford this.

Has anybody had experience with a problem like this, are there any cheaper alternatives, would whitening strips work, even though it is only one tooth?

Thanks

you can buy tooth bleaching kit for cheaper. You can use it on one tooth, but its possible to get your dentist to build you a mold which will hold the bleach in place overnight. See how much that is. Veneers are usually more expensive than £250.
look on the internet for tooth bleaching it can start from £6.
Have sent you the link for laser teeth whitening also.

  1. No whitening strips are for stains if the tooth is rotten then a veneer is the only thing that will help unless the tooth eventually falls out
