What are the best, natural and safe ways to whiten teeth?

I, unfortunately, didn’t look after my teeth properly when i was younger. I want to whiten them naturally and safely in the best way possible. I’m getting a boyfriend soon and I don’t want him to think my mouth is unclean just because my teeth aren’t white.

whiteners can cause sensitivity, and even pain. I would start with a whitening tarter control toothpaste. before you brush, try rinsing with Listerine whitening rinse. it worked very good for me. my dentist thought I got professional whitening.

What is the best way to get white teeth with out dropping a ton of money?

I have white teeth but I do have some stains on them. I really would like them at their best but I don’t want to spend a lot!

when i try to use whitening products like Crest or Bright Light the white spots dont even out – they just get even whiter. My teeth are not really yellow to begin with but the spots on them are really bright white.

after having braces on for 4 years and all the money my parents spent i thought they would like nicer but they just look worse. can i get rid of these spots and what are they called?
i am so desperate to get rid of these spots they are soo ugly and noticeable! i brushed my teeth every day when i had braces so i dont know what it is. could it be from the dentist trying to get the glue off my teeth and he scraped them too much?

Those white-spots are called decalcification spots. These spots can appear on teeth that have had braces or teeth that have not. You may want to ask your dentist for some fluoride toothpaste if he did not already have you on that while your braces were on. This will help re-mineralize the decalcifiaction areas of the tooth, making it look the same as the rest of the tooth. Some areas of decalcification are are fairly shallow and your dentist may be able to do a composite filling or a colored white filling that will match the rest of your tooth. I would talk to him and see what his recommendation would be, he can better judge your case.

Im a tad sketchy on the whitening part, usually its either baking soda(which tastes bad and will only help remove stains) or if it is a whitening agent I am thinking I dont want to swallow it.
However, sugarfree gum of any kind may help prevent cavities, yes. We often tell patients if you are away from home after a meal and cant brush, you can chew sugarless gum, or swish with water, or chew a cleansing food like apple or cheese. These things do help out. But brushing is by far best,,and dont leave out the floss!

Yep. You could try using baking soda first though, it’d be cheaper and might help some. Just wet the toothbrush, put baking soda on it, and brush. Rinse and then brush with toothpaste like normal. If it doesn’t help, then you could bleach or whiten.

Well i am 16 and i don’t smoke, drink. I want to get rid of my yellow teeth and some of the stains on it, can i do that? Is it possible? If so does anyone know any methods? How can i make my teeth as white it can get,?

I want to get my teeth whitened and dont want to spend a thousand dollars to go to the dentist to get it done. They just opened up this new place in the mall called Bleach Bright. Has anyone ever heard or used this? I dont want my teeth to fall out……

I would not go there!! There are no Dentists working there in case something goes wrong. I am not saying something will but you never know what could happen. I don’t know there prices but at our office it is 350 for teeth whitening with in the hour. It is called zoom and it works awesome!!
