Teeth Bleaching to get rid of stains?

Hi!
Will bleaching my teeth get rid of two stains from coca cola, ice tea, tea etc?

Yep. You could try using baking soda first though, it’d be cheaper and might help some. Just wet the toothbrush, put baking soda on it, and brush. Rinse and then brush with toothpaste like normal. If it doesn’t help, then you could bleach or whiten.

Does the dentists have to numb to teeth/gum in order to bleach them?
Does the dentist have to numb your gum/teeth in order to bleach them?

You don’t have to be numb for bleaching but I would recommend taking Ibuprofen before because you will be so sensitive afterwards. I could hardly talk after I had mine bleached but the results were so good I would do it again in a second!!

Would bleaching clearish tint teeth have an effect?

I have a clearish tint to my teeth. If I were to bleach them would it help at all? Because I am getting braces off soon but my teeth are not white white. I don’t want to spend money to bleach my teeth if it doesn’t work.

if your teeth are sort of see through (is that what you mean by clear?) then that means your enamel has worn. I’d use tooth mousse religiously for a few months after getting your braces off to help restore your enamel, and then look at having them whitened. It really won’t make much different having them whitened straight away, as it’s the opacity that’s making your teeth seem less white.

How can I drink coffee & soda right after bleaching my teeth without staining?

I know its a silly question but the reason my fangs are so yellow in the first place is because I LOVE coffee and my diet-coke. I drink about a pot and a half of coffee a day. (over 8 to 12 hour period at work) No way can I cut out coffee for 24-48 hours after bleaching as recommended. I’ve heard the reason for no dark foods is because the teeth are porous after bleaching. Is there any way I can fill in the pores with something? A good coating of sealant maybe? lol. Seriously? I like to taste the coffee on my palette. Straws kill the sensation. I guess I’m a coffee-snob. Please help.

You can’t, or you’ll be throwing away the money you spent to have your teeth whitened. Teeth are dehydrated after whitening, not more porous. When saliva touches them and when you drink or eat something, the teeth soak up the moisture over the first 24-48 hours, and the color of whatever those things contain. If you received custom-made whitening trays from your dentist after your whitening, you can put those on to have a SMALL AMOUNT of what you crave. Otherwise, I would try to forget about it, or expect your teeth shade to relapse. I hope this helps.

No. Carbamide peroxide is the active ingredient in any bleaching material whether they are light or non-light activated. Good luck.
